Vegan & Lightly Sweetened
Add your cranberries, maple syrup, and water to a baking dish along with a cinnamon stick and vanilla extract.
Bake covered with foil or an oven safe lid until the cranberries burst.
Remove the cinnamon stick and then lightly mash the cranberries with the back of a spoon.
Add orange juice and a pinch of salt to help reduce the bitterness of the cranberries. Then stir to fully combined.
You can adjust the sweetness to your preference. Add more sweetener to meet your preference. Perfect to serve with holiday mains and a great condiment for sandwiches.
